YOUR HOLIDAY SHOPPING CAN EARN THE SMITH PTO MONEY

Did you know you can earn money for the Smith PTO just by shopping the sites you already shop?  There are two easy ways.

The first is through Amazon.com  If you access the Amazon site through our blog (in the left hand column) then any purchases made will have a percentage of the purchase go straight to the PTO.

The second ways is through "e BoxTops".  There are over 400 stores included in this site.  Stores you may already shop with on a regular basis like, expedia, Best Buy, Crate and Barrel, Gap and iTunes, just to name a few.  You just need to enroll at  https://www.boxtops4education.com/marketplace

Just choose a store, click on its logo and shop as usual. There are special links to participating stores that enable our school to be credited with eBoxTops® when you make a purchase. Remember, this is at no additional cost to you.  Any eBoxTops® earned will be automatically added to our school’s next Box Tops check.  Just like clipped Box Tops, eBoxTops® are worth 10¢ apiece.

These funds are used to support extra events and programs offered at Smith like field trips, artists-in-residence, classroom mini grants and more!

book fair

The hours are as follows:
  • Monday - Thursday open 8:00 - 3:30
  • Wednesday evening will have additional hours from 6:00 - 8:00pm
  • Friday open 8:00 - 12:00

HALLOWEEN COSTUME SALE

Wednesday night, during the book fair, we will also be holding a halloween costume sale.  This is a great way to recycle last years' costumes that otherwise would never be worn again! You can drop off any gently used costumes in the bin outside the main office.  Don't forget to come and check out the costumes available for this year's trick or treating!

ANNUAL FALL FUNDRAISER - GIFT WRAP AND MORE

Our PTO fall fundraiser has started!  This year we are working with a new local fundraising company, Red Barn Fundraising.  Our fundraiser will run from September 19 to October 7.  Through this fundraiser you will be able to sell and purchase gift wrap, holiday cards, and many other great products many of which are local products!

All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Smith PTO to support the programs that the PTO provides for the classrooms and school.

A notice and permission slip to participate in the fundraiser have gone home with students. This form must be returned to school and then a packet will be sent home.  Family and friends who can't order directly from you can go online.  The necessary information is provided in the packet.

This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.  We hope you will join us in raising money to continue the programs the PTO financially supports each year.  Without these fundraisers some programs would not be possible.

Some families prefer to make a one time, tax deductible, donation in lieu of participating in the PTO fundraisers.  If you would prefer to make a donation you can send a check into school made out to CP Smith PTO!

                                                Thank you!
